Getting Started with Pison PERFORM
This section will guide you through the initial steps to get started with Pison PERFORM.
1. Unbox Your Pison-Powered Wearable
Step 1: Unbox Your Wearable
Open the box and remove the wearable along with the charging cable.
Step 2: Charge Your Wearable
To charge the wearable, connect the USB side of the cable to an outlet (an adapter may be required) or a laptop and connect the other end with the magnetic clip to the Charging Port of the wearable so that the pins align and snap together.
Note: To confirm your charger is properly connected and charging your wearable, look for the charging bolt icon next to the battery icon in the top right corner of the display.
2. Download the Pison App and Log In
As your wearable charges, download the Pison app from the Apple App Store (for iOS) or Google Play Store (for Android). Once downloaded, open the app and log in using the same credentials you created when purchasing your wearable.
3. Wear Your Device
Place the wearable on your preferred hand. It should be centered on your wrist and sit behind the wrist bone for a secure fit. When you lift your wrist to view the screen the Select Button that says ‘Timex’ should be closest to your body. Once properly positioned, pull the strap to tighten. It should be snug but comfortable.
Note: Ensure the electrodes on the back of the wearable have good contact with the skin for proper function.
4. Pairing
Once you sign into the app with your credentials, a message will prompt you to pair your Pison wearable.
Step 1: Find Your Wearable
- Press “Find Device,” which will display a list of wearables within range.
- If you are having trouble finding your wearable, ensure that your phone and wearable are close together, the wearable is adequately charged, and that wireless connectivity for the Pison app is enabled (in your phone settings).
Step 2: Locate the Serial Number on Your Wearable
- To find the Serial Number (SN), open the wearable information screen (Figure 1) by pressing the Timex button on your wearable from the clock display. The Serial Number will appear under ‘Wave Band 2,’ next to ‘SN.’
Step 3: Select Your Wearable
- Press the “Select” button next to the wearable with the matching Serial Number (SN). The serial number is the 7 digit code that starts with “C”.
Step 4: Confirm the Pairing
- Your wearable is now paired, indicated by an icon with a green dot in the top-right corner of the home screen in the app. Another way to confirm that your device is properly paired is by checking the Bluetooth icon in the top-left corner of the wearable display. It will appear blue when paired, rather than gray.
5. Calibrate Your Baseline for Readiness Score
To start cognitive performance testing, first calibrate your Readiness score baseline.
Step 1: Start Calibration
- Press the “Start Calibration” button
Step 2: Calibrate Your Baseline
- Take three consecutive Readiness tests to calibrate your baseline.
Note: Repeat the calibration once or twice to help you overcome the learning curve of these cognitive tests and ensure you have the most accurate baseline.
Step 3: Confirm Calibration
- Press “Confirm Calibration” to finalize your baseline.
6. Explore the App
Your wearable and mobile app are now set up to monitor your mind-body fitness.
