How to run on-field drills with the Pison BASEBALL Pro App?
Before You Start:
You’ll need to create an organization and team. For setup instructions, refer to How to set up Pison BASEBALL Pro to get started?
Step 1: Download the App
- Download the Pison BASEBALL Pro app from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
- Sign in with your email and password.
- Once logged in, your teams will be visible for training sessions.
Step 2: Assign Devices to Athletes
- Note: This assignment is done once per player
- Navigate to the team tab within the app.
- Instruct athletes to enter Pro mode by sequentially clicking the Pison button, side button, and Pison button again. The display should show “PRO” in the top left corner.
- Select “Assign Device” on the athlete’s name card.
- A list of Pison devices under “Devices found” will be displayed. If a device isn’t found, ensure it’s charged, in Pro mode, and within range.
- Athletes should provide their identifier code, and select the corresponding device. The Identifier code for a device is their four-digit code, which is the last four digits of the serial number (accessible by pressing the PISON button while the display is on).
- Ensure that the athletes’ devices are updated with the latest firmware. For further assistance, refer to “Updating Firmware for Athletes’ Devices.”
Step 3: Ensure Athlete’s Devices are Positioned Correctly
- Note: Ensure athletes’ devices are positioned correctly. The placement varies depending on the drill selected.
- Positioning the Device. Open the velcro and gently slide the device onto your wrist
- Orientation: Ensure the device is positioned correctly by placing the button with the Pison logo closest to your body for easy readability when you lift your wrist to view the screen.
- Adjusting the Fit: Once properly positioned, gently pull the strap to tighten the device. It should be snug but comfortable for your wrist.
- Refer to the table provided below to see which wrist drill participants should put the device on to run a specific drill.
