Cognitive test troubleshooting

If your cognitive tests keep failing:

  1. Ensure Proper Device Placement 
    • How to Wear your Device
      • Positioning the Device: Open the velcro of the band and gently slide the device onto your wrist. 
      • Orientation: Ensure the device is positioned correctly by placing the button with the Pison logo closest to your body for easy readability when you lift your wrist to view the screen.
      • Adjusting the Fit: Once properly positioned, gently pull the strap to tighten the device. It should be snug but comfortable for your wrist.
    • Tips for Proper Device Placement
      • Centering: Ensure the device is centered on your wrist for optimal accuracy and comfort.
      • Placement: The device should sit behind the wrist bone for a secure fit.
  2. Do a hard reset of the device: To hard reset the device, hold the PISON button and the side button for 20 seconds. A successful reset occurs when the display goes black and the PISON logo appears.
  3. Restart the App: Close and reopen the Pison® app.
  4. Ensure Firmware Is Up To Date: 
    • Navigate to the home screen within the app.
    • Tap the device icon with the blue dot in the top right corner to enter “Device Settings.”
    • Select “Device Details.”
    • Press “Update Available,” then tap “Update” to install the latest firmware.
      • Check the “Current firmware version” to confirm the update.
  5. Check For App Updates: Open the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and verify that the app is up to date.
